Some of the most stylish women in the world have a very selective style. Whatever the occasion may be, their outfits are still a representation of their core style- that has been “their” style for a long period of time.
These are very busy women. Editor-in-chief of one of the biggest magazines on Earth- that’s no easy job. But they still manage to look impeccable every single day.
Leading a busy life does not mean that you have to sacrifice the desire of looking good. What you want is to be dressed in under 5 minutes and still look put-together.
Solution to this: OUTFIT FORMULAS
Simply put, Outfit Formulas are specific combinations of clothes that you can wear in a variety of ways. It’s sort of like a uniform but its elements are constantly changing.
Eg: Jeans + T-shirt + Blazer + Heels
You can either wear a variety of t-shirt/jeans/heels and keep all the elements the same in this formula.
Or you can swap T-shirts for shirts, jeans for trousers, blazer for jackets. Your core formula still remains the same.
Sometimes, it doesn’t even have to be a complete outfit, it can just be a single element that’s part of your uniform.
In the above photo, Carine Roitfeld’s signature Pencil Skirts, Anna Wintour’s Knee-length Dresses and Emmanuel Alt’s Jeans + Heels are all part of their outfit formulas. You will almost always see them wearing these elements with a variety of other tops/outerwear/accessories.
Outfit formulas make getting dressed so much quicker and easier in the mornings. They also keep your wardrobe functional where all items go with each other.
If you have a few of these outfit formulas figured out, imagine how breezy your mornings can be! And you’ll always look stylish and put-together.
